CAD/CAM Leaders Mastercam Foundational Course

In this course you will start by learning how to effortlessly navigate Mastercam's Graphic User Interface, along with key settings in the system configuration which will prepare you for success.
We will waste no time by diving directly into a CAD workflow within Mastercam, and contrast between parametric and non-parametric solid modeling attributes. Within the same lesson we'll cover the WCS, Construction Plane, Tool Plane, along with the G-View and what it all means.
You will know everything you need to know about The Level Manager to ensure you stay organized while working in Mastercam, in addition to covering machine, master, stock and workholding setups.
Of course we will discuss how to leverage the powerful tools available to us within Backplot and verify; As well, you will learn all of the options which are critically important to you making it or breaking it (literally) as a CNC Programmer.
You can't talk about programming a CNC Machine Tool without speaking G-Code...
After you become well acquainted with some of the basic toolpaths such as Facing, Contour, and 2D Dynamic, we will explore some of the more advanced offerings like 3D High Speed Optirough, or toolpaths tailored to make profiling surfaces a breeze like Flowline.
Naturally you will need to know how to generate Tooling lists and setup sheets for your machinists to have instructions for setup right? Fear not, because we will cover that too!
I know you didn't think we would be offering an introductory course of Mastercam without exposing you to lathe programming...did you? Of course not!
Walk through will cover establishment of D+ Z+ plane, and you will learn the "Old School" way to leverage this special lathe world plane to make sketching for components on the lathe a cinch.
By the time you've learned about Face, Rough, Finish, Part-Off, and Stock Flip operations, you'll be turning parts out with the best of them!
